Senior Management Team

Chief Executive Officer: Martin Coles CBE

Responsible for overall leadership, direction and management of the personnel and activities of MSSC to achieve the requirements of the Trustees.

Captain Sea Cadet Corps and Director of Operations (Serving RN Officer): Captain Neil Downing RN

Provides operational leadership to Sea Cadets with a specific focus on the safe delivery of training.

Director of Finance and Digital: Jenny Howard

Manages the financial affairs of MSSC. Also oversees IT, Book Services and Stores departments.

Director of Human Resources: Petrina Brooker

Responsible for all employment matters relating to MSSC's staff.

Director of Young People, Volunteer & Business Support: Paul Wilkinson

Responsible for policy, young people and volunteer support, administration of the Sea Cadet Corps and acts as the main contact for unit chairs for business and growth programmes.

Director of Fundraising and Communications: Daniel McAllister

Directs charity’s strategic communications, brand and marketing. Leads fundraising strategy and activity for Sea Cadets and Marine Society.

Director of Sea Cadets Learning: Heather Williams

Responsible for all training and education for Sea Cadets.

Director of Maritime Training and Development: Darrell Bate

Responsible for products and education for seafarers.
